The Hogwarts Letter Scene

                   The Hogwarts letter scene

The scene shows that Harry is at home looking through the mail, when he saw that there was one letter for him. He went to the kitchen to give his foster father the letters except the letter that was for himself. His foster brother then took the letter that was for Harry Potter and gave it to his foster father when he saw the letter that Harry was holding. The father looked at the letter and ripped it up. The owls kept sending Harry more and more of the same letters until he finally read one, The foster father then decided to move far away so the owls couldn't find them.

This scene qualifies as the first step of The Hero's Journey "call to adventure" because Harry Potter was sent a mysterious letter by the owls. The mysterious letter was for Harry to go to a Wizard school. The letter will be Harry's call to adventure.

Should high schools require students to read the "classics"?

High schools should require students to read the classics because you can learn many new things you haven't experience or known yet...
