The blame of Enkidu's death
The person that I blame for Enkidu's death is Gilgamesh because he wanted to increase his fame. He defeated Humbaba, guardian of Enlil's cedar forest and Anu's bull of heaven with the help of Enkidu. It was the cause of one of the heroes dying. For example, In tablet five, Humbaba cursed Enkidu and stated, "Neither of you will grow old; Gilgamesh will bury you." It was not Enkidu's fault because Humbaba was a really bad god that could not be trusted. He did what he felt was the right thing to do by telling Gilgamesh to kill him.
